The term 'Nosferatu' is Romanian for "Vampire". The aircraft is very different to the Strigon Team's signature plane, the Su-33 Flanker-D. The CFA-44 has an obtuse angle from the beak of the plane to the end of the wing. It is shaped to look more swift and terrifying. It is packed with three different weapons, two of which are not suited for other aircraft; The ADMM (All-Directional-Multi-purpose-Missile), the EML (Electromagnetic-Missile-Launcher), and the ECMP (Electromagnetic-Counter-Measure-Pod, Tornado GR.4 and F/A-18F get something similar). It also has two afterburners. It is slightly faster, has a higher normal turn rate and can carry more missiles than the Su-33 Flanker-D. However, it's High-G function is more difficult to control, as it doesn't leave it as soon as one or more of the throttle buttons are released. In the hands of inexperienced players, it can be very prone to stalls.
On the day of the battle against Ilya Pasternak, a large number of UAV's (named UAV-45 Malgebolg) were used to help him in the battle. Whenever Pasternak would fly far away at high speed, the player's radar would automatically lock onto a UAV. These UAVs were as small and as numerous as the cruise missiles launched at Gracemeria that same night. In addition, these UAV were extremely fast & nimble, often evading missiles by simply accelerating/performing sharp Immelmann Turns. A single, standard missile was sufficient to eliminate a UAV, and the same applied to cannon fire.
